Road directions from Stornoway

Take the A859 towards Tarbert. At Leurbost, turn right onto the A858 to Bernera/Uig. At Garrynahine, take the B8011 towards Bernera/Uig. After 3 miles, turn right onto the B8059 to Bernera. Follow this road for 5 miles until you reach the bridge. Cross the bridge, follow the road around the bend, then take the first right, signposted Circebost. At the next junction, turn right and go over the hill. Where the road bends to the left, turn right (NOT towards the pier). Rudha Glas is at the end of this road (see photo). Parking is available on the driveway.

Road directions from Harris

Take the A859 towards Stornoway. At Leurbost, turn left onto the A858 to Bernera/Uig. Then follow the directions as above.

Getting to Rudha Glas by bus from Stornoway

Take the W2 Westside Circular Clockwise or the W4 and change at Garynahine to the W3. Ask to be dropped off at the turning circle in Kirkibost South.

Getting to Rudha Glas by bus from Tarbert

Take the W10 towards Stornoway but change at Cameron Terrace (Leurbost) to the W2 or W4. Change again at Garynahine to the W3. Ask to be dropped off at the turning circle in Kirkibost South.

Note: Buses run at different times depending on school holidays. There is no bus service on Sundays.
